[Guide] Running Ragnarok with Proxy

So lets start with the simple question,
Why should you use Proxy ?
the answer is quite simple, if you connect directly they got your ip and can get you quite easy banned.

So for those of you who dont know what a proxy is: a proxy is like a path, a mddle part, a hmmm cant compare with anything, its simply a a server that connects for you to another server like [Your Pc] --> [Proxy] --> [The Server you want], isntead of your ip it will display the proxys ip.  (As long as they dont bounce your ip  with HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR HTTP_VIA HTTP_PROXY_CONNECTION *cough* nevermind that)

Anyways so what do we need to connect with proxy ?

1) A Proxy Server that supports SOCKS :>

2) SocksCap
Download here

Ok install socks cap and run it

it will ask you to configure it



enter all your proxies information on the 1st register, do not modify any other options
if you are unsure about your proxys protcol just try  (the ip I entered is just aE)


ok now press new



then a window will appear that asks you to configure the programm you want to proxy'rize



As Name choose Ragnarok, Ragnarok Online, Raghax or whatever you want
commandline is the path to your exe and work dir is just your ro dir. Hit ok.



Ok now you just select Ragnarok Online and Press Run.

Well in the private servers that I play in, the IP with which you register with is the one that gets banned, so I just change my HTML proxy address and register a couple of accounts. I guess this is not the same with the officials or else this post would be useless I guess. =)
