Novice--->High Novice Exploit.

If you go to the town of Valkryie and talk to the gypsy as a female as a novice (without gaining any levels or exp), and keep talking to her, she'll automatically make you into a high novice. This completely cuts out 98 baselevels, making it a huge timesaver. In this bug, you must be Female.

For the a male novice, if you walk into valkryie and talk to the clown, he goes on rambling, and eventually says "you're not clown material". There is a definite bug in him, but it is yet to be determined.


This bug is probably well-known already, but I didn't see anyone post it so....


If you find the rest of the clown glitch, post it here. Also, I heard that it was easy to change your sex using a bot, and if you know that method, also post it here.

I just did it on ElysiumRO, which runs on RC5, eAthena I think. The server may be found somewhere in the RO forums of www.pk-hq.com

im gonna try the high novice bug... regarding the changing of character using bot, yes that is possible... change the config.txt on your bot's control folder for sex to 0 or 1 (1=male / 0=female)... im not sure though if it will be saved in the server if you logout using the other sex and continue using it using the RO client.

I'm not sure if there's a way to get to valkryie without warper. But, if you do manage to get there somehow, you should try to get a priest to warp a female novice there.

Some one should lock this and let it die in peace. Look at the dates of the first poster and yours, greater than a 1 year difference. This "exploit" is probably dead already.
