I got 2 questions:

1. Is there a website where I can check the latest version of WPE? And is WPE PRO Alpha 0.9a the latest version?

2. I tried to send a modified chat packet to a server. I replaced my nickname with "<GM>Banana" and as chat message I wrote "Hello world". After sending it to the server, it was displayed correctly like this: "<GM>Banana: Hello world". But after 2 seconds a little window poped up: "Your account has been blocked by the GM team" . Either a GM was just checking the packets that I sent to the server or there's a script on the server that immediately bans all people that sent modified chat packets with "<GM>xxxxx"  in it. Does anyone know anything about that? The server is running on Freya by the way.

oh well I've should added a warning, DONT modify your name within public chat, that wont work, server checks for correct name :x

is it possible to repeatedly use an item here like 1 pcs red potion? and also the file wpe is infected....is there another wpe link? oki ty 4 the tutorial very nice!

The wpespy.dll is not a virus. It's just classified as one, because it is a packet sniffer.

And no, you can't do that with red potions. That information is stored server-side, and can't be simply modified like that (or you'd see more people doing it). Trying to send the packet for using a red potion when you don't have one can result in:
1. Nothing.
2. Disconnection.
3. "The GM team has blocked your account."

Although number 3 is less often, invalidly sending packets (like modifying your name) can result in getting auto-banned.

i've been looking for exploits in PRO (teh philippine ragnarok online-yes i said teh) since monday. and as of today.... drumroll please... i've found.... nothing! (yet). i'm still hopefull.

Are there any calculations made clientside,like damage calculations, or is everything done serverside?
I'm currently looking for some, if ever such calculations exist. If somebody knows anything please tell me.

umm.. if any of you are trying to look for damage calculations clientside. stop wasting your time. i used a very slow internet connection and started attacking an orc. then suddenly i experienced a lag spike, after the lag spike the orc is already dead. thank God it wasn't the other way around. heh
Therefore, damage calculations when attacking is done server side. the client merely pointed to the server which monster to attack. but don't despair there might still be other calculations made clientside.

well I know java, php, vb.NET and basic assambler, learned asm and java at school (well still learning)

vb is mostly suggested as easy-to-start programming langauge because you can make GUIs very easy with it. I would suggest you to start either with Visual Basic or C# (get the free Express version of Visual Studio VB.NET or C# from the MSDN Sites), VB.NET might be easier but once you know C# you should be able to write C programms as well.

Choose wich ever you want and grap a good book about it (I myself prefer books over internet tutorials and e-books since I hate reading all those pages on the pc @,@)
